1971 Honda CB350

This was another Honda picked up at the auction in Illinois early 2014 – an awesome little CB350. It had been kicking around at the shop until someone came along who wanted a small Honda project. The idea is a cafe racer/bratstyle hybrid. The motorcycle was stripped and all paint removed.

The tail of the frame has been removed. A new tail is being created with a grab rail for the customer’s wife to use. We also removed alot of the original spot-welded seams, which we normally do on the CB350s (most places don’t), to give a cleaner, more finished look. As with all of these bikes, a gel, antigravity battery is being used and relocated under the seat, along with the rectifier/regulator and starter solenoid. This cleans up the area behind the engine.
