Established in October 2013 by husband and wife team, Adam and Jamie Sheard, Speed Deluxe began as a small shop in Soddy Daisy, TN specializing in the repair, restoration, and customization of pre-1980 motorcycles.

In February 2016, we were able to move closer to our goal of establishing a hangout space for two-wheeled enthusiasts in addition to the shop. They teamed up with Justin Shipp of Silent Cycles and Velo Coffee Roasters in February 2016 to move to a two-storied 1920s building on Cherokee Blvd in Chattanooga, spending 6 months to renovate the retail and coffee bar space, which opened in July 2016. Adam of Speed Deluxe and Justin of Silent Cycles share the workshop space in the basement of the building. In May 2017, Speed Deluxe acquired the coffee bar from Velo Coffee Roasters, continuing to work towards the ultimate goal of a two-wheeled hangout. At Speed Deluxe Vintage & Bespoke Motorcycles, we work on projects large and small, and we’re more than happy to help you with one small item, such as oil change, tuning, or paint, or to complete your project from start to finish.

We specialize in custom fabrication, based on your specifications. From handlebars to exhaust, we can build it. We’ve also got a fully heated downdraft spray booth. Our workspace partner Justin Shipp has powdercoating facilities. The only work that we contract out is chrome and trim.

We also became Chattanooga’s Royal Enfield sales, service, and warranty center in August 2017. Come in and check them out and take one on a test ride!
